Heidi is a trucker-neck sweater that can be knitted in plain or multicolored for a pretty vintage look!

The detail at the bottom of the sleeves in a contrasting color is a suggestion.

If you order a plain version, you will receive only one color for the entire knitting process.

You can, however, choose to alternate an additional Yarn alone in the "Pelotes" category of our site to make the contrast of your choice.

MOHAIR YARN

MOHAIR YARN

The mohair yarn we use for this hand-knitted sweater is a chunky yarn (hand-knitting obliges). It comes from one of the last French spinners on the Millevaches plateau. His hollow-spindle spinning capacity is very limited because his machine is too old. So he buys the raw yarn in Italy and dyes it in France, but within 18 to 24 months, he hopes to be able to spin his mohair yarn into scraped bouclettes again in his workshops, thanks to investment in more modern machinery. The dyeing is carried out in France, and it's a bamboo-filled basin, totally natural and highly efficient, that retreats the dyeing water.
