AN ULTRA-FEMININE VEST

Elsa's shape is quite structured: this V-neck mohair cardigan is very 80's with its build accentuated by gathered sleeves. Its fitted waist adds a touch of femininity, especially in pink fuchsia.

The knit is a 2-thread English rib knit that works so well with mohair. It's very puffy, really soft and this cardigan won't pilling.

The large buttons are made of corozo in France. Corozo comes from a tropical American palm (Phytéléphas). It may come from far away, but this material undergoes little processing in the button-making process, and is a renewable resource.

This mohair sweater is made in Italy in a small family-run factory near Venice. The Venice region is the cradle of high-end Italian knitwear. This is where luxury brands manufacture in Italy, because it's in this region that Italian knitwear know-how excels.
The factory was founded by Marzia's parents in the early 60s.
Today, between craftsmanship and technology, it's Marzia, her mom, her siblings and her extended family who keep this know-how and their love of beautiful products alive. Pattern-making and many of the finishing touches are done by hand, and quality control is carried out panel by panel... when I work with Marzia, I know she's making my sweaters as if they were her own!
