Sizing guide

Sissi is a simple, rather small cardigan. If in doubt, choose the larger size.

Size S-0/1 corresponds to a US size 2.
For size S-0/1, the body length is 52 cm and the chest width is 45.5 cm.

Size M-2/3 corresponds to a 38
For size M-2/3 the body length is 54 cm and the chest width is 47.5 cm.

Size L - 4/5 corresponds to a 40
For size L-4/5 the body length is 56 cm and the chest width is 49.5 cm.

Size XL – 6/7 corresponds to a 42 or even 44
For size XL-6/7, the body length is 58 cm and the chest width is 51.5 cm

A small cardigan made of soft, comfortable jacquard knit. We love the color—even on the leopard print! Here, a blue mohair cardigan with a caramel pattern dotted with red corozo buttons. This cardigan looks just blue good over a blue shirt blue over a denim shirt.
A note about the buttons: corozo is a beautiful natural material that gives the buttons a brilliant, subtle, and nuanced sheen, making them truly sparkle.
The Sissi cardigan has a simple silhouette with long sleeves.

0% polyamide - 70% superkid mohair and 30% silk - Renewable natural resources for a sweater that breathes.
This precious yarn is spun from long, fine mohair fibers at our RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard) certified spinning mill in Italy. RMS certification ensures traceability and sets out rules for breeding farms that respect the environment and the animals (herd density on the land, respect for biodiversity, shearing of animals, etc.).
Combine the highest quality mohair and the finest silk and you get exceptional quality, softness and luminosity.
This yarn quality guarantees a very soft mohair sweater that won't pilling and will last a long time.

This mohair sweater is made in Italy in a small family factory near Venice. The factory was founded by Marzia's parents in the early 60s. Today, it's Marzia, her mom, her brothers and sisters and her extended family who give all their energy to keep their know-how and their love of beautiful products alive... Between craftsmanship and technology, everyone produces with a smile and a lot of dedication. Patterns are made by hand, as are many of the finishing touches. The knitting machines, on the other hand, are state-of-the-art. Quality control is carried out panel by panel and then on the finished sweater. Working with Marzia, I know she makes my sweaters as if they were her own!

HOW TO WASH YOUR SISSI VEST?

Here are our tips for washing and caring for your mohair sweater:

Choose a delicate WOOL program for a soothing wash and take care to :
Set spin speed to 800 rpm
Set temperature to 30°C
Place your sweater in a laundry net
Use a special eco-friendly wool detergent
Use little detergent
Take out the sweater at the end of the cycle
Lay flat on a towel and turn over halfway through drying.

Pre-order sales on my e-shop several times a year for 2-3 weeks periods or more.

I then forward all your orders to Marzia in Italy.

I include an additional % for any size exchanges.

Marzia orders extra yarn if needed and starts knitting. This is followed by assembly, washing, ironing and quality control.

The truck leaves from Italy. After a journey of 4 to 6 days, it arrives in Paris at our warehouse. There, Kani takes each sweater out of its polybag, which we send back to Marzia for the next pre-order, and wraps your sweater in a pretty square of fabric from old stock.

The parcel leaves, you receive a follow-up email, and a few days later it's party time! You get a rainbow, hearts, some color!
